The state’s $55 million infrastructure commitment for Westwood Station green-lit 400,000 square feet of buildings – putting developer Cabot, Cabot & Forbes in talks with Canton officials and catalyzing a revision of their plans.
“At a minimum, the developer has to come back in and amend the phasing of the project,” said Chris McKeown, Westwood’s Project Manager for the mixed-use development.

The Blue Hills Civic Association will hold a food drive for the Canton Food Pantry in memory of Claire Maranda on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7.
Leave a bag of food at your mailbox for pick-up by 12:30 p.m.

Canton High School students are turning their classrooms into courtrooms to assume the roles of both witnesses and lawyers for this year’s 25th annual Mock Trial Program presented by the Massachusetts Bar Association.
More than 100 lawyers from communities around the state will put down their cases and pick up gavels to preside over the mock trials as judges. Other volunteer attorneys will serve as coaches for the teams of students.
